Prix PIERRE POTIER medal
On Wednesday December 6, we were honored to receive the Prix Pierre Potier medal in the “process” category.
Established in 2006 by the French Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, and today supported by the Fondation de la MAISON DE LA CHIMIE and France Chimie, the Prix Pierre Potier aims to celebrate and support outstanding innovations by companies in the chemical sector in favor of sustainable development.
This prestigious medal is the culmination of our commitment to developing the innovative AFYNERIE® biomimetic fermentation process. The fruit of more than 10 years of intensive research and development, our process, patented worldwide, is taking on an industrial dimension with the implementation of our AFYREN NEOXY plant, a biorefinery unique in the world. This technology, inspired by nature and characterized by a minimal carbon footprint, fits harmoniously into a resolutely circular model.
Beyond this major achievement, our plant is becoming a concrete player in the development of the bioeconomy sector in Europe, while having a sustainable impact on the territory that hosts it.
Receiving this medal of excellence is a wonderful recognition for all our teams. To all those who have contributed to this success, a huge thank you ????
This success reinforces our conviction that the future of the chemical industry is resolutely focused on sustainable and innovative solutions.
